IAS and Boy Scouts Troop 49, 13 April, 2018

Boy Scouts from Troop 49 of the Honpa Hongwanji Betsuin received training for their booth activity at the upcoming Ellison Onizuka Day of Exploration taking place on Saturday, April 28 at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall.

The Scouts learnt how to prepare finger prints, and how to lift finger print evidence from objects.

They practiced their techniques and trained each other to reinforce what they learnt.

Visit their booth, and enjoy the other STEM activities at the Ellison Onizuka Day of Exploration.

"I Am A Scientist STEM" is a mobile outreach program that shares our labs beyond the Chaminade University campus. Our services are FREE to Hawaii DOE schools. IAS STEM is part of a broader initiative by the Division of Natural Sciences & Mathematics at Chaminade University to encourage science awareness and education in Hawaii's public schools.
