Poem contest, National Chemistry Week

Aloha Fellow Science Enthusiasts!

As we start the new school year, it is a great time to start thinking about National Chemistry Week. It will be held this year from October 22-28^th, 2017.

We will be holding an illustrated poem contest again this year for K-12 students. The theme this year is “Chemistry Rocks!” (emphasis on geology/geochemistry) to celebrate National Chemistry Week’s 30^th anniversary. I have attached the information packet

The deadline for submissions is September 22, 2017. Local section winners will receive a prize, advance to the national ACS illustrated poem contest, and have their winning poster showcased in display cases at Kahala Mall during NCW.
